Welcome to your weekend! This is my second Weekend Inspiration post. I’m planning to post a little idea for myself and you each weekend this year. It doesn’t have to be anything major, but doing a little something different can be a great way to mix things up, escape from a rut, and stir up some creativity.

This week your challenge is to do a little photography! Try to do something different than what you do. If you are used to using only your phone, try using a real camera– or the other way around.

It would be awesome if you would join me tomorrow for Ten on Ten. It’s a monthly photo project started by Rebekah Gough where you’re asked to document ten hours of your day by taking a photo each hour. I love this project so much. It was actually a huge reason why I started blogging in the first place. I wanted a place to post my Ten on Ten!

So let’s talk about last weekend. Did you go to the library? We went and of course got a ton of books for the kids. The favorites are Frog and Friends readers and Little Mouse. For myself  I checked out Fallout by Sadie Jones and already finished it. Woe is me for not getting more than one! It was pretty good, by the way, I may write up a review.

Check back tomorrow for my 10 on 10 post. To give it a twist and challenge myself this month (since that’s what Weekend Inspiration is all about, after all) I’m planning to take all my photos on Instagram. Will I see you there?
