I’m so excited to begin this new series for #weekendinspiration in 2015! Each Friday I’ll post with a little wrap-up from the week and give you a bit of inspiration for you weekend. It might be something simple to do or make. There’s no pressure, of course. Play along and you might just find yourself stepping out of your typical weekend rut.
I decided to start this series because I felt like I was in just that: a rut. Every weekend we would try to decide what to do and end up doing nothing except for obligatory chores and errands. It doesn’t have to be an elaborate weekend getaway to be special. I hope this series will challenge me to do something each weekend this year. I want to spend my time more intentionally, don’t you?
So what’s up first? Let’s go to the library! Libraries are easy and free. There is so much knowledge just sitting right there waiting for us to pick it up. I can’t think of a better way to start January than cozied up with a new book.
We are down in Texas visiting family so I’ll be going to a library I haven’t been to since I was a little girl. We will definitely be checking out books for the kids, but I’m also planning to get one for me. Any recommendations? These were my favorites from 2014.
What do you think? Want to try this with me? Let’s shake things up a bit this year.
You can follow along on Instagram, too! See you there!
