What a gorgeous Tenth! We went to the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore today. It was a stunning day. I couldn’t stop taking photos. I might have taken more than ten!
The zoo was the first place in Baltimore we purchased a membership since my son loves animals so much. I take him every couple of weeks. The zoo isn’t very large, but that’s actually what makes it a perfect outing for us. In addition to all the animals we saw on exhibit, we had an up close moment with a wild deer that came onto the zoo grounds. Since the zoo is inside of the huge Druid Hill Park, they roam into the zoo sometimes. We stayed quiet so we could watch it munch on leaves. We also had a nice talk about animal coloring and camouflage.

After the busy morning, we had a quiet afternoon at home. I just couldn’t get enough of the light today!

Ten on Ten is a photo project started by Rebekah Gough on her blog: A Bit of Sunshine. I’ve participated since 2012 and I’m still amazed each month. See more sets here.
