Eid Mubarak

Eid Mubarak! I can’t believe Eid snuck up on me so quickly. This week has been a quick rush of shoe and hijab shopping, gift buying and house cleaning. Of course we studied a bit about Hajj and the significance of this Eid too. I’ll do a post about that later this week. Today I just have a simple, easy, last-minute Eid gift idea.

We are going down to Virginia to visit some of my husband’s family. We will spend the night tonight and celebrate with them tomorrow. We wanted to bring a nice little gift for each of the three families who we will be seeing.

Last weekend we went apple picking and got extras to give as gifts. I also bought some chocolates at a local, family-owned shop called Glauber’s. (If you’re local to Baltimore, I definitely recommend them!)

I made these labels and had them printed on thick paper.

My son helped me glue them onto a square of sparkly black scrapbook paper and I finished them off with some raffia ribbon.

Have a blessed Eid!

That’s it. Simple yet impactful. I hope you have a wonderful day!
