I’ve fallen a little short of my one post per week in the last couple of weeks. We were out of town. I wrote a little about it here, on my work blog. But we’re back, so hopefully I’ll be posting every Wednesday now.
This week was 10 on 10! Already! I feel like time is passing so quickly all of a sudden. My little Belle is nearly two months old. She is really starting to smile and interact with us now. She is amazed by her brother. And he still squeals with excitement when he sees her. He pats her on the head and says “suit,” which we take to be a combination of “sweet” and “cute.” It’s really suit when he does it.
This month’s Tenth was pretty lazy. We spent the day at home doing a little laundry and cleaning up after our travels. Boo-Boo is obsessed with washing the dishes now. Two out of the three of us had a shower. And I made a delicious chicken salad. It was a pretty productive day. For us.
Every month I think that we might do something fun for the Tenth, go somewhere special. But I guess that’s what it’s all about, right? It’s about finding the beauty in the ordinary. Let yourself savor the mundane.
Here’s our Tenth.
Ten on Ten is a photo project started by Rebekah Gough on her blog: A Bit of Sunshine. I’ve participated since 2012 and I’m still amazed each month. See more sets here.
